This class will focus on simple and gentle yoga poses using a beginner vinyasa yoga flow that will improve mobility, strength, control of one’s breathing and increase stamina.
The class will include: 1. Spinal warm up. 2. Gross motor movements combined with the breath to get the body moving and to expel pent up energy from sitting so long. 3. Gentle whole body stretches to counteract the “conference chair sitting” posture. 4. Simple slow flow through basic yoga poses. 5. Basic balance poses. 6. Relaxation period (shivasana) at the end.
The practice is very appropriate for both beginners and experienced practitioners and will be doable in street clothes. Come as you are and enjoy a little restorative break from your conference sessions to recharge!
