Maria A. Jones, PT, PhD, is program director and clinical professor at Oklahoma City University (OCU). She has been a licensed PT for 35 years. Her clinical practice focuses on the provision of services and assistive technology for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She currently serves on the APTA’s Public Policy and Advocacy Committee, as the Director of Advocacy for the APTA’s Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, on is a board member for the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Foundation.
