Sandy is a clinician with over 35 years of experience serving infants and families in the NICU and early intervention. Formerly from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Sandy taught pediatric content for DPT students, directed a pediatric residency program, and served as the director of the Munroe Meyer Institute, Pediatric Physical Therapy Department from 2015 - 2023. Having received her PhD in clinical translational research in 2019, she has been a member of the START-Play and Supporting Transition from NICU to home research consortiums.
