Marissa is a physical therapist specializing in both neurodevelopmental pediatrics and pediatrics sports rehab. Areas of interest include optimizing participation in adolescents with cerebral palsy, intensity of therapy post-selective dorsal rhizotomy, and non-traditional utilization of blood flow restriction to improve outcomes. Outside of clinical practice, she is adjunct faculty at Nova Southeastern University for Pediatrics and Neuro courses. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with a 200-hr certification. Marissa lives in St. Petersburg with her husband and two labs. Outside of work she loves to spend time outside with her family, flowing on her yoga mat and traveling the US.
