Kara Boynewicz PT, DPT, PhD, ATC is a board certified pediatric physical therapy specialist with 22 years of clinical experience with children in the hospital, early intervention and outpatient settings. She is currently an associate professor in the department of physical therapy at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and is a core faculty member in the Vanderbilt Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (Tn-LEND) program. Her clinical research focus is understanding early brain development with early identification and prevention of infants and children at risk for developmental delays. Her SOTL research focuses on the advancement of pediatric PT education and practice.
