Maggie O’Neil, PT, PhD, MPH, is associate professor in the PT and Kinesiology Department at University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Zuckerberg College of Health and Social Sciences. Dr. O’Neil teaches pediatric and research courses in the DPT program. She mentors Exercise Science and DPT student research projects. Her research examines objective measures of physical activity in children with cerebral palsy (CP) and virtual reality interventions to promote fitness, mobility, and physical activity. She has published widely and has received research grants. She is co-director of APTA Clinical Practice Guideline for Ambulatory Youth with CP and member of APTA Pediatrics Research Committee.
